[LIVE] Manners at live music venues
LIVE(Unused) 2012.11.07
This information will not be distributed via email newsletter.
Following our recent performance at eggman, we would like to post some additional information regarding etiquette at live houses.
We understand that many people observe the rules at our live house and enjoy the live show with kindness, but we would like to ask you to read it again just to be sure.
"Think of the person next to you as your loved one."
"The person next to you is someone important to you."
Crew members help each other and create a fun day.
◎ At the recent performance, there were "fake nails (long ones)", "nail deco (excessive decoration)", piercings, etc.
There have been cases where people have unknowingly hurt the person next to them.
Any part of the body that is hit by the light can be dangerous, but if it hits your eyes or other parts of your body, it can lead to irreparable damage. (You may also end up hurting yourself.)
Please pay close attention.

Regarding health management
・If you are not feeling well (or have a chronic illness), please do not push yourself and watch from the back of the venue. If you feel unwell during the live performance, please move to the back of the venue or inform a nearby staff member without enduring the discomfort. Also, if you see someone feeling unwell nearby, please cooperate. Live performances require physical strength. Get a good night's sleep the night before, eat properly on the day of the performance, and make sure to stay hydrated.
●About clothing etc.
*If the following rules are not followed, you may be denied entry.
・Please refrain from wearing accessories or high-heeled shoes (including mules) during the performance as they may cause unexpected injuries. (Shoes that are easy to move in, such as sneakers, may be more comfortable later on.)
・Please remember to remove your hat.
・If you have long hair, please tie it back and be considerate of the customers behind you. Putting your hair in a bun on top of your head can be a nuisance to the customers behind you. Please tie your hair in a twin tail or a bun low down.
・Decorated rubber bands, hair clips, and hair pins can also be lethal weapons. They can sometimes injure your scalp or ears. Please be considerate and remove rubber bands and hair pins only the hair pins just before the performance begins.
- Please remove earrings and other jewelry as you may lose them or, as mentioned above, cause injury to yourself.
- Please remove all watches, bracelets, bangles, etc. as they can become weapons regardless of design and may be lost or broken.
- Having a change of clothes in case you sweat will also help prevent catching a cold after the live performance.
・Please leave your luggage (important items) in the lockers or cloakroom. (Luggage may cause pressure on you.)
・Please avoid wearing clothes that are too tight around the body as much as possible. This can cause the feeling of pressure to increase.
・Please avoid wearing clothes that expose a lot of skin, such as camisoles and shorts. During the performance, you will be in close contact with others. Please be considerate of those around you.
・Please refrain from coming to the venue with any writing on your arm or arm in marker. Because people are in close contact with each other at live music venues, the marker may transfer to the clothes of those around you, causing inconvenience.
・Due to the nature of the performance, please refrain from bringing shiny objects.
● Regarding behavior during the show and inside the venue
・During the performance, people may push or bump into each other. Even if you are not aware of it, you may push or bump into someone with force. The human body is heavier and harder than you might imagine. Pushing too hard can cause discomfort, and squeezing in too close can put pressure on the chest and lead to oxygen deprivation. If you feel that you have pushed or bumped into someone, please speak up or try to make space. Please be tolerant of each other.
・If you see someone around you who looks like they are in pain, about to collapse, or has collapsed, please call out to them and let the staff and people around them know. (Please be especially considerate of short women, as they are more likely to suffer from oxygen deprivation.)
・To avoid dehydration and heatstroke, if you feel like you can't go any further, try to move to the side between songs while raising your hands and calling out to people around you. If you see someone doing this, please call out to staff or people around you and pull them out of the venue.
・During the show, any actions that endanger the physical health of customers, such as moshing or body-ramming, are prohibited. (Please also avoid any actions that may encourage such actions.) First aid will be given for any injuries that occur within the venue, but please note that the organizers and venue will not take any responsibility for anything that happens afterwards. Anyone who engages in any of the above annoying actions may be forced to leave the venue. These actions may result in accidents involving other customers and may even lead to the performance being canceled, so please refrain from them under any circumstances.
・We have noticed a lot of people reserving spots with a set number of people in mind, regardless of ticket number or entry order. Please cooperate by sharing your spot with others so that both regulars and first-time visitors can enjoy their time without discrimination.
