1) Rules and the way UVERworld 's live houses are run
[Rules: The way UVERworld 's live house should be]
(Excerpt from TAKUYA∞ 's blog/
For FC members Blog of March 11, 2018 Please check though)
"Don't come to a live show just to dive!"
I've dived into other people's live shows many times, but that was
I couldn't contain my emotions! I was just trying to speak out loud.
Before I knew it, my body was flying!
That's what it is.
That's the only thing I'll tolerate from now on.
----------
"Isn't it okay to only do dives on days when there are joint bands and during男祭りand女祭り?"
But I also do performances to invite people to let go of their emotions,
I think I'll be pushing my way onto the floor myself.
It's a privilege and something unique to live houses.
I don't want to be tied down by rigid rules
He was like 15-year-old Takuya, who ran off to a live music venue.
You're still there, right?
----------
"Women who watch on the floor must tie their hair up. No heels allowed."
It's such a simple thing.
Think about it carefully.
Everyone there loves UVERworld. There must be something about them that they can understand.
Yesterday (March 10, 2018)
If everyone reads the "Summary of Opinions"
I think UVERworld 's live house performances can reach even greater heights.
2) Live House Manners / From the Crew
[Comments (opinions) from the Crew regarding live performances at live music venues]
March 10, 2018, TAKUYA∞ 's blog
Regarding manners at live music venues and information on男祭り, female-only, and mixed-gender live performances.
We received many comments (opinions) from the Crew.
I have compiled those words,
Those attending UVERworld 's live concert,
Before you come, be sure to read the words from the Crew who share the same love for music.
Following that, TAKUYA∞ gave a "word (rule)." and
"Regarding Live House Etiquette" Please take a moment to read this.
We would appreciate it.
―――――――
The following is from TAKUYA∞ 's blog on March 10, 2018.
Regarding manners at live music venues and information about男祭り, women's festivals, and mixed-gender live performances.
These are comments (opinions) we received from our Crew members after soliciting their opinions.
【Note】
● The tally is not equivalent to a "majority vote."
(Comments expressing opinions only; comments agreeing with both sides will not be counted.)
●It's also a matter of one's state of mind.
●There are suggestions for improvement regarding both men and women.
This is not meant to be a way for men and women to argue, but rather to express "opinions" and "voices."
Accepting it and then deciding what to do next is up to that person's own "heart."
●Even those who have experienced gender segregation have mixed opinions. Opinions differ greatly depending on the position.
[Comments (opinions) from the Crew]
Rather than focusing on the issue of separating or mixing men and women, we hope for improvements in manners.
- Dividing it up will only encourage more people to take advantage of the situation.
Dividing things reduces the spirit of "mutual help" and "compassion."
The fundamental issues are the lack of proper etiquette and the dangers faced by divers.
Because it was a rare男祭り, I put in daily effort to train myself in preparation for it.
(I hope it's something valuable)
I'm against splitting it every time, but I think it's okay occasionally.
- When I was going through a tough time in mixed-gender sports, it was the boys who supported and helped me.
I'd like to have both days.
How about separating men and women on the first and second floors?
Even when separated by gender, the boundary is harsh (male divers come into the women's area).
Girls should tie their hair up.
I dislike divers who are only there for the purpose of giving fist bumps, regardless of gender.
(It's not like I couldn't help it and just had to do it...)
However, some divers wait on top of people for several minutes just to give each other a fist bump.
Regardless of gender, I wish people would stop singing full songs loudly right next to my ear.
Since you have a numbered ticket, please use your own judgment to decide where to stand.
(Depending on your physical condition that day)
- I'd like the distinction between boys (bad) and girls (good) to be changed from day to day.
Because we are aware of each other and considerate of one another, we can perform even at more intense band concerts and festivals.
Even without dividing it, few people get injured.
I want dives to be limited to those that are caused by an uncontrollable impulse.
Please stop having the same people do dives all the time.
I wish they'd limit stage diving and lifting to joint shows and男祭り.
- Sometimes, even if I haven't done anything, the girl next to me will elbow me or hit me on the head.
(Just because I'm a boy, I get yelled at.)
Please refrain from wearing heels or miniskirts, and tie your hair back.
Men, please do not wear boots.
I dislike arguments between crew members who try to determine the superiority or inferiority of men and women.
・Please stop the robbery of TAKUYA∞.
It's a little different for the male crew to dislike the female crew for being averse to Abunai things.
There might be a lot of people who only care about themselves...
I can't bring myself to go to a live music venue just by reading reviews.
- It is possible to hold separate events for men and women in arena-sized venues.
Please stop taking photos inside the venue and posting them on social media. (This is a prohibited act.)
Even though men go there to listen to music, some go there solely for the purpose of giving fist bumps.
Many people don't enjoy music.
・Even though we're a female crew, we don't want to give hugs. We want to give rewards "at the live show."
I wish the same people would stop doing the same dives.
Instead of separating by gender, I'd like to see a limit on the number of people inside the fenced area.
I would like everyone to be more thorough in managing themselves.
I want people to know that there are men who don't like diving.
I would like a safe place created where divers do not come.
[Reasons for supporting gender separation]
- In a mixed-gender setting, you have to be considerate of the couples.
(I understand you want to protect her, but...)
- The height difference will be corrected.
- It helps prevent groping.
I'm scared of divers.
Because I'm tall, I have to be considerate of girls. (They often look at me like I'm in the way.)
- If fewer girls collapse, mixed races would be better.
It's wrong to assume that live concerts are inherently dangerous.
I feel like there are more and more men who are not "men who protect women," but rather the complete opposite—men who just want to cause trouble.
If you're going to do it, I'd like you to put a proper divider in the middle.
- During the mixed group activity, there was someone shouting "Go! Go!" before it even started, which was scary.
[Mixed reasons for supporting]
For couples, being separated by gender is difficult.
- When it's just people of the same sex, kicking and hitting increase.
- If it's only women, the support is weak and it will wobble.
- The sense of exclusivity diminishes.
- When it's just women, they don't hold back and end up squeezing in tight, which is tough.
(Because of the high level of closeness, or because of hesitation between a man and a woman, a small space is created between them.)
I think it was fun because it was something new.
- A sense of unity is created when men and women interact.
- When you separate them, a "dive OK" kind of vibe emerges among both men and women.
I think there will be more female members, so the competition will be higher.
・That's also part of the charm of live music venues.
Some people find it difficult to be categorized and distinguished by the term "gender" in various ways.
I'm a female crew member, but I think I'd be more excited if I were with guys.
It's strange that a live concert can't guarantee safety unless it's separated by gender.
Please protect yourself.
(This applies to both men and women. Not everyone wants to be protected by a man.)
- The girls, despite not being strong enough, tried to compete with the boys by giving them piggyback rides and diving, but no one could support them, causing them to collapse and look dangerous.
男祭りand女祭りshould be special events.
- Although it's an all-male crew, some guys misunderstood the situation because there were only men around and caused trouble for those around them.
I couldn't concentrate on the music at all.
I think it's okay as long as there's "consideration" for others, even if you don't separate things.
Simply separating by gender feels a bit lonely.
I want to watch it wherever I like.
Live music venues are a place where people of all genders can have a great time.
If we separate them, the gender barrier will become even wider than it is now.
3) Manners at live music venues
[On Manners at Live Houses]
If you are coming to the live house
Please be sure to read it and cooperate.
What are the feelings of those who come to the concert hoping to experience UVERworld ’s music live?
They are all the same.
Even if we are comrades who are attracted to the same thing and gathered at the same time, and happen to be sitting next to each other,
Please enjoy the live performance without forgetting the feeling of "protecting" each of them.
Treat the person next to you as if they were your "important person."
This request is not mandatory, but we hope that many people will feel that way.
I believe that it will create a more enjoyable space.
So that the day we were looking forward to would not be a sad one,
For those who attended and those who are looking forward to the live report,
I want to make this a day that everyone can look back on and smile about.
I sincerely hope so.
* Pushing and shoving more than necessary may result in injury.
Please be very careful.
Also, Please refrain from getting too close as this may cause misunderstandings.
If you notice anyone acting suspiciously, please inform people nearby or a nearby staff member.
Regarding health management
-If you are feeling unwell (or have a chronic illness), please do not force yourself and watch from the back of the venue.
If you feel unwell during the live performance, please move to the back of the venue or inform a nearby staff member without enduring the discomfort. Also, if you see someone feeling unwell nearby, please cooperate.
A live performance will consume a lot of energy, so make sure you get a good night's sleep the night before, eat properly on the day of the performance, and stay hydrated.
●About clothing etc.
・Please refrain from wearing accessories or high-heeled shoes (including mules) during the performance as they may cause unexpected injury.
(Shoes that are easy to move around in, such as sneakers, may be more comfortable later on.)
・Please remember to remove your hat.
・If you have long hair, please tie it back and be considerate of the customers behind you.
Please note that having your hair tied up above your head may cause inconvenience to passengers behind you. Please tie your hair up in a twin tail or tie it up low on the floor.
・Decorated rubber bands, hair clips, and hair pins can also be lethal weapons. They can sometimes injure your scalp or ears. Please be considerate and remove rubber bands and hair pins only the hair pins just before the performance begins.
- Please remove earrings and other jewelry as you may lose them or, as mentioned above, cause injury to yourself.
- Please remove all watches, bracelets, bangles, etc. as they can become weapons regardless of design and may be lost or broken.
- Having a change of clothes in case you sweat will also help prevent catching a cold after the live performance.
・Please leave your luggage (important items) in the lockers or cloakroom.
(Luggage may cause pressure.)
・Please avoid wearing clothes that are too tight around the body as much as possible. This can cause the feeling of pressure to increase.
・Please avoid wearing clothing that exposes a lot of skin, such as camisoles and shorts.
During the performance, you will be in close contact with others. Please be considerate of those around you.
・Please refrain from coming to the venue with any writing on your arm or arm in marker. Because people are in close contact with each other at live music venues, the marker may transfer to the clothes of those around you, causing inconvenience.
● Regarding behavior during the show and inside the venue
-During the performance, people will likely be pushing or bumping into each other.
Even if you are not aware of it, you may push or bump into something with force. The human body is heavier and more rigid than you might imagine.
Pushing too hard can cause discomfort, and getting too close can put pressure on the chest and lead to oxygen deprivation. If you feel like you have pushed or bumped into someone, please speak up or try to leave some space. Please be tolerant of each other.
・If you see someone around you who appears to be in distress, is about to collapse, or has collapsed, please speak to them and let staff and people around you know know.
(Please be especially careful with short women, as they are more likely to suffer from oxygen deficiency.)
・To avoid dehydration and heatstroke, if you feel you cannot continue, try to move to the side between songs while raising your hands and calling out to those around you.
If you see someone doing this, please ask a staff member or someone nearby to help you remove them from the venue.
・During the performance, any actions that endanger the physical health of customers, such as moshing or body-ramming, are prohibited. (Please also refrain from any actions that may encourage such actions.) First aid will be provided for injuries that occur within the venue, but please note that the organizers and venue will not take any responsibility for anything that happens afterwards. Anyone who engages in any of the above annoying actions may be forced to leave the venue.
Please refrain from these actions as they may result in accidents involving other customers and may even lead to the performance being canceled.
・We have noticed a lot of people reserving spots with a limit on the number of people allowed, regardless of ticket number or entry order. Please cooperate by sharing your spot with others so that both regulars and first-time visitors can enjoy their time without discrimination.
・Please refrain from getting too close as this may cause misunderstandings.
